Ol Bobongi sits on a 15-acre private compound with views out of the veranda straight onto Mount Kenya (when the mountain s out, and that’s not always guaranteed) and has an abundance of smaller wildlife roaming around on the premises.

The Central entrance way of the house is beautifully finished and decorated giving you an incredible ‘wow’ factor as you enter the huge Lamu doors. Scattered through the lavishly ordained houses are 3 King sized double bedrooms, all en-suite and individually decorated. There is a 4 bed ‘kids room’ with bunk beds for the kids to cause trouble and a Queen sized double bedroom. In total, Ol Bobongi can hold a maximum of 10 pax.

The house also comes with a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, living room, lovely veranda and an entertainment room with Netflix, DSTV, 800 movies and a library of over 500 CD’s. If your kids, or the adults are movie fanatics, you’re sorted ?. But the piece de resistance at Ol Bobongi is the game room, or man cave. There is a central fireplace, huge TV, snooker table, table tennis table and foosball table, along with a bar (un stocked unfortunately) and a collection of gym equipment, so whatever age you are, there is something for you in the game room. Oh, did we mention there are another 600 movies available in the game room for all ages?

To top it all off, Ol Bobongi comes with free wifi the whole way through the house, an unbelievable chef and lovely house keeper to look after you, there is a laundry service at an extra fee if you need and ample parking.

Ol Bobongi is NOT a party house, its privately owned and loved by the owners, so please respect the following rules:

No loud music / or parties.

In these crazy Covid times, all adults (over 18) must provide proof of double vaccinations against Covid 19 or a Negative PCR test conducted 72 hours prior to arrival. All the rooms are fully sanitized and sprayed and there are hand sanitizers and temperature checks at the house, we are doing our part against Covid.

If you’re in the area to explore, then you are in for a treat. Known as the gateway to the north, Nanyuki is ideally located for you to access the wonders of Laikipia, Shaba and Samburu. Nanyuki also offers a close base to explore the world-famous Ol Pejeta wildlife conservancy, to experience the Northern White Rhinos, chimpanzees of Sweetwaters Sanctuary, and the other abundant wildlife at one of Kenya’s foremost conservation zones.

If you’re looking for more adventure, why not head into the forests around Mount Kenya and the Aberdare National Park and get lost in the forest trails and spot rhinos and giant forest hogs, or experience some of the best fly fishing in the country on Mount Kenya’s lakes or the rivers of the Aberdares.
