The Cottage has 2 bedrooms: 1 king, 1 twin (that can become another double room by pushing the beds together) and 2 camp beds can be setup in the living room for extra guests or children. It has 1 bathroom with shower. The house can sleep a maximum of 6 guests. The kitchen comes with cooking basics, cutlery and cooking equipment, fridge, freezer, gas stove and cook to assist you with meals. We provide filtered rain water for cooking and drinking (if you want bottled water you must bring it yourself). This house is entirely self catering and we do not arrange or provide any food for guests. Hippo House has outdoor chill out areas which feature unbeatable lake and conservancy views.

Crescent Island is a convenient two-hour drive (and a short boat ride!) from Nairobi. One of the first vacation properties on Crescent Island Game Sanctuary. It is located on Lake Naivasha, Crescent Island is often called Naivasha's best-kept secret. All conservancy fees for this stunning sanctuary are included in the price when you book the house. Please note this is a functioning sanctuary so there will be boats landing on the shore nearby with day visitors.
