About Ajabu House
Ajabu House on the northern shores of Lake Naivasha, only 2-2.5 hours from Nairobi by road, lives up to its name - Ajabu meaning Miracle. It was the family home for Wilfred and Mairo Hopcraft, initially built in the 1930s. It is now their grandchildren’s home - Julie and Tanya. It is located among 10 or more majestic fig trees (Ficus Wakefieldii) providing wonderful ambiance to the gardens, and is home to over 100 species of birds, monkeys, and much more. Beneath the trees is the deck - which is perfect for wining and dining whilst looking out across the lake, watching hippos and listening to fish eagles. Magical!
OUR ROOMS
The main house has 1 large spacious master bedroom, which has a double and also a sofa pull out, and is attached via a doorway to a twin(the bird room) ensuite room. Both have stunning front view seats of the lake. Siriane Cottage has 2 spacious rooms each with en-suite bathrooms, and long views of the lake, and Mt Longonot. One room is a double room and the other can be a double or a twin. Muse Cottage has 3 bedrooms - one family room with a shared bathroom (double bed in the parent section and in the children's section there is a bunk bed and a queen bed). The red room has option for double or twin with en-suite bathroom. It sleeps a maximu of 12 adults and 4 kids.

Go for a picnic/ breakfast hike at Eburru forest reserve , visit the gysers springs and make yourself a snack.
Boat Ride
Go in a boat ride around Lake Naivasha one enjoy the scenery, sun and cool breeze.
Nature Walk & Hikes
Go for nature walks/ hikes in the conservancy area around the house. The house staff are happy to help

From its 8000 ft offers vistas of the lake and the Great Rift Valley, its an extraordinary experience.

Playing golf at the Great Rift Valley Lodge.
Loldia conservency
The conservation area is home to an array of wildlife including giraffe, bat ear foxes, thomson gazelle and more.
